Onthe Translation of Chinese Proverbs

Abstract: Proverbs are concise phrases widely circulatedamong the people,reflecting their practical experience in social lifeandlearming.Theyaretheflowersofart.Thetranslationeffctofproverbsdirectlyafectsthecontentofthetranslation andtheunderstandingofthetranslationTherefore,translatorsshouldfullyonsiderthediferentstylesbetweenproverbs when translating them tochoosetranslationmethods.Thisarticleexploresindepththemethodsof translating Chineseproverbs,findingsuitabletranslationmethodsfordiferentproverbstooptimizetheir translation.Itprovidesexamplestoanalyzethecharacteristicsofproverbsandexplorethetranslationfeaturesofproverbsthemselves.Itanalyzestheoptimizationsuggestions for findingsuitable translationmethodsforproverbs,inorder toachieve beterlearningandaplicationof proverbs.In future learning, we can further use proverbs and deepen our understanding and comprehension of proverbs.
