Abstract The digital management of hospital office documentary archives is one of the fundamental infrastructures for promoting high一qualitydevelopment in hospitals.Basedonthetheoryof digital governanceand consideringthe actual management status of a public tertiry hospital，this study systematically explores the curent challenges faced in the digital managementof hospitaloffice documentaryarchives fromfour dimensions：technology，security，service，nd data.Furthermore，it proposes a path designof "platform integration-securityprevention and control-public participation-datautilization" toprovideareference forpublic hospitals inachieving thedigital transformationof documentary archive management.
