Abstract Objective To construct and implement the "YOU & WE" four-tier support model for nurse second victims，aiming to enhance nurses'self-care abilitiesand clinical safety behaviors.MethodsThrough literature review，expert consultation，and interviews with nurses who had previously experienced patient safety incidents，a fourtier support model tailored for diffrent groups of nurses was constructed. Nurses who experienced nursing safety incidents inthe second quarterof 2O24 were designatedasthe experimental group，while thosein the first quarter served as the control group.A comparative study was conducted to evaluate the application efects of the support model.Results Thirty days after the occurrence of adverse events，the experimental group demonstrated significantly better outcomes thanthe control group in terms of second victim experiences and support，sleep quality，self-care abilities，and evaluation results of nurse safety behavior（ P<0.05 ）.ConclusionThe "YOU & WE" four-tier support model for nurse second victims provides effective psychological and physiological support for nurses facing adverse events andofrs a practical approach for managing adverse events in healthcare quality.
