Abstract ObjectiveTo understand the current research status，hotspots，and development trends of regional medical center through an analysis of relevant literature.MethodsUsing CNKI，WangFang，and VIP as data sources，journalarticles in the fieldof regional medical center research were retrieved.CiteSpace was employed to conduct correlation analyses oncoreauthors，publishing institutions，and keywords.ResultsA total of 265 articles were included inthe research analysis.The majorityof the publishing journals were in the categoryof medical management， anda truecore author group had notyet formed.Research teams predominantly consisted of collaborations betwen medical universities and healthcare institutions.Analysis of keywords revealedthat terms suchas regional medical center，hierarchical diagnosis and treatment，medicalconsortiumand healthcarereformappeared withhigh frequencyresultinginatotalof9clustersand7burst terms.ConclusionResearch related toregionalmedicalcenterin China is currentlyin the stage of practical exploration. Since 2Ol9，research has primarily focused on two aspects：the positioning and value connotation of regional medical center.
