Abstract ObjectiveTo systematically review the impact of the DRG payment method reform on the service efficiency of medical institutions in China，withtheaim of providing references for the reformofChinas healthcare system， policy formulation，and the managementof medicalinstitutions.MethodsAcomprehensiveliterature search was conducted acrossdatabases including PubMed，Embase，Web of Science，CNKI，CBM，WanFang Data，and VIP to gather relevantstudiesontheimplementation efects of the DRG payment method reformon the service eficiency of medical institutions.The search period spanned from January1，2O09，to December 31，2024.Athematic synthesis approach was employed toanalyze theincluded studies.ResultsA totalof13 studies were included，whichcollctively formed one core themeand three evaluation indicators.The systematic review revealed that folowing the implementationof the DRG reform，the averagelength of hospital stay was shortened，and both the time consumption index and thecost consumption index exhibiteda downward trend，indicating an improvement in the eficiencyof medical services.Conclusion The DRG payment method reform can enhance the service eficiency of medical institutions，thereby reducing both the hospitalization costs and timecosts for patients.However，thereis a need to further refine theevaluation system and explore long-term mechanisms to achieve sustained improvements in the eficiency of medical services.
