Abstract：Aselectrifiedrailwaysextendintoregionssusceptibletosevereicing，frequenticingincidentshaveposed significantchalengestorailwaysafety.Thispaperpresentsacomprehensivereviewofanti-icing，monitoring，anddeicing technologiesforcatenarysystems.Thispaperdelvesintoanti-icingstrategies，includinganti-icingcoatings，citicalcurnt methods，andphysicalpropertyaproaches.Additionallthepaperexaminesicingpredictionandonlinemonitoringtechnologies， leveragingdataanalysis，artificialinteligenceandsensorsystems.Variousdeicingtechniques，suchasthermalmelting， mechanicalremovalandthermalsliding，arealsodiscussedThefindingsunderscorethenecesityforfutherresearchtoevelop cost-efectiveeasilyimplementableintegratedanti-icinganddeicingsystemstoenhancethedisasterresilenceofrailway catenary systems and ensure their safe operation.
