2021年10月12日重庆市交通强市建设工作推进会发布《重庆市综合立体交通网规划纲要（2021—2035年）》简称《纲要》），提出重庆“123出行交通圈”“123快货物流圈"和“4向3轴6廊"对外运输大通道，《纲要》对南彭物流基地提出高定位、高要求，基地成为全市提升西部陆海新通道能力的载体，建设国际性综合交通枢纽城市的重要支撑，明确南彭公路物流基地为国际性枢纽港站，铁路南彭站为区域性枢纽港站。（剩余3460字）
