Abstract：Basedonthesignificantsafetyhazardscausedbypipelinevibrationinthermal powerplants，variouscausesof steamandwaterpipelinevibrationwerefirstsummarizedindetail，andtheimpactanalysisofpipelinedynamicstresscausedby pipelinevibrationwasintroduced.Then，basedonthebasictheoryofdynamics，commonlyusedmethodsforcontrolingsteam andwatepipelinevibrationwereintroduced，andnumerouscasesofsteamandwaterpipelinevibrationcontrolithrmalpower plantswerepresented.Finallageneralimplementationplanforvibrationcontrolofsteamandwaterpipelinesinthermalpower plants is given in detail，so provide reference for subsequent related pipeline vibration control.
