Investigation and reflection on the post competency of integrated Chinese and Western medicine professionals

[Abstract]Objective Toexplorethe modelconstructionof postcompetencyforintegrated ChineseandWestern medicine profesionals，andtodevelopstrategiesforcultivatingcliniciansinintegratedChineseandWesternmedicine.MethodsA questionnairewasconductedamonggraduatesmajoring inintegratedChineseandWesternmedicineandtheiremployersto evaluatethecompetenciesof theseprofesionalsResultsEmployersexpressedhighexpectationsforintegratedChineseand Westernmedicineprofesionals，requiringnotonlybasicclinicalknowledgeandskilsinbothdisciplinesbutalsoclincalthinking abilitiesandmedicalinovationcapabilies.Graduates'self-asessmentcorelatedwiththeiryearsofworkexperience，withoe having10-17yearsofworkexperienceshowingrelativelyhigherself-evaluations.Graduatessuggestedthatuniversitiesshould enhanceclinicalskilstraining，strengthentheintegrationoftheorywithpractice，andfocusoncultivatingmedicaliovation capabilities.ConclusionTheconstructionof apostcompetencymodelforintegrated ChineseandWestemmedicineprofesionals shouldemphasizeclinicalthinkingabiltiesinintegratedpractice.Inundergraduateducationuniversitiesshouldiplement reformsincuriculum design，teaching materials，facultytraining，managementandevaluationsystems.Maintaining strongties with thehealthcareindustryandsocietyiscrucialforcontinuouslyoptimizingandadjustingtheclinicaltrainingmodelofintegrated Chinese and Western medicine，therebycultivating integrated medicine professionals thatmeet contemporarysocietal needs.
