Exploring the relationship between qi， blood， and body fluid metabolism and hypertension based on the Fire-Heat Theory

[Abstract]Hypertensionisacommonchronicconditioncategorizedunder"vertigo”and"vasculardistension"inChinese Medicine （CM）.Ispathologicalbasisinvolvesfactorssuchasqideficiencyqistagnation，bloodstasis，phlegm-turbidityand phlegm-fluidretentionThecorepathogenesisanbesummarizdasdysregulationintheciculationandmetabolismofqiblood， andbodyfuidsus，pertesionisticalonditiovolvingsiultaeosisturbnceofloodndboddsuling fromanimbalanceinsideandoutsidethebloodvesels.LIUWansu，inhisboo SuWenXuanJiYuanBingShi （Explanationof MysteriousPathogenesisndEtiologiesBasedontheBasicQuestions），systematicallproposedthe"Fire-HeatTheorywhich coversbothexogenouspathogenicfireandendogenousfire.Theinvasionofthebodybyexogenous fire-heatorendogenousfire heatleadstogulatioofloodbddsltigigaioloodsisoincutiot aggregation，dpegturbdityreetioIisvdentattFHeatorisoselyelatedtolododdsd hypertension.Inmodem life，chronicstressandemotionalfluctuationscaneasilytransformintofire，improperdietmayproduce damp-heatandphlegm-fire，andlackofexercisecancauseqistagnationandbloodstasis，whichfurthertransforminto heatThese threfactorscolectivelycontrbutetoteendogenous"fireeattoxin"whichbcomsoneoftecorepathogenesisofhypertension.

Hypertensionisconsideredalow-gradeinflammatorydisease，andinflammationinCMisoftenclasifiedasfire-heattoxin. Therefore，understandingandtreatinghypertensionfromtheperspectiveofthe"Fire-HeatTheory"holdssignificantclinical relevance.Thispaperfocusesontheoriginanddevelopmentof the"Fire-HeatTeory"anddiscuses treatmentprinciplessuchs "treatingheatwithcoldand"dispersingfirestagnation."Basedonthemechanismsofqi，bloodandbodyfludmetabolismand integratingiomedicalperspecives，tisudyimstoucidatetherelatioshipmongFireHeatorilodbodfuids hypertensioninflammation"fromthecharacteristicsofitspathology，providingnewinsightsfortheintegratedtreatmentof hypertension using both Chinese and Western medicine.
