[Abstract]Thetheoryof "tendonmalpositionand jointsubluxation"hasalong historical origin，exerting far-reaching influenceonthedevelopmentof tuinatheoriesandscholsinChinesemedicine （CM）.Tendinopathyacommondisorderinthe musculoskeletalsystem，isrecognizedinCMashavingthekeypathogenesisof"tendonmalpositionandjointsubluxation." Clinicaly，tuinatherapyguidedbythistheoryimstoachievethetherapeuticeficacyofbonerepositioningtendonrelaxationand freeflowofqiandbloodThisarticleprovidesanoverviewoftheCMunderstandingoftendinopathythetheoreticalframework of"tendonmalpositionandjointsubluxation"anditsclinicalappicationinguidingtuinatreatmentfortendinopathywithtem ofofferingnewresearchperspectives forthetheoreticalfoundationandclinicalapplicationof tuinatherapyfortendinopathy.
