Application of Automated Laser WeldinginLithiumBattery Manufacturing

Abstract:[Purposes] This study aims to explore the application value and optimization approaches of automatic laser welding technology in lithium battery manufacturing.[Methods] By introducing the fundamented principles of laser welding and the composition of automated systems,in conjunction with the lithium batery manufacturing process,this study focuses on analyzing optimization measures for cell welding and tab connection processes.This study also examines the impact of welding technology on battery safety,welding precision,and quality control,while evaluating the role of automated systems in improving production eficiency.[Findings] The study demonstrates that automated laser welding can ffectively enhance welding precision and joint quality,improve battery safety performance,and through integrated automation,significantly increase both processing speed and production line stability.[Conclusions] As acritical technology in lithium battery manufacturing,automated laser welding can achieve efficient and standardized manufacturing processes while ensuring quality and performance.This technology provides robust technical support forthe electric vehicle and energy storage industries,demonstrating significant potential forfuture application.
