ResearchonDigitalDetectionMethod forSafeDistanceinLive Working on High Voltage Distribution Lines

Abstract:[Purposes]As thekey link of electric energy transmission and distribution,high-voltage distribution lines are continually expanding in scale,increasingly sophisticated in structure and increasingly diversified in operating environments. In the process of live working, workers face multiple safety risks. In order to improve the accuracy of real-time safety distance detection,taking a high-voltage distribution line as the research object,a digital safety distance detection method for live working is proposed. [Methods] First,according to the actual situation of the work site,the digital camera modelfor live working is constructed to calibrate the digital camera used in live working of high voltage distribution lines. Second,the disparity regresson method is introduced. Using the scene images captured by the calibrated camera as input,the maximum candidate disparity of pixels at the work site is calculated by extracting image features.Finally,calculating the depth map of the camera image at the live working site to achiieve the real-time detection of the site safety distance.[Findings] The test results show that the detection results of this method are highly consistent with those of manual detection,and when the safety distance between the operator and the energized component is less than 3.6m , the detection results trigger red-line warnings.[Conclusions] The proposed method enables precise digital safety distance detection and proximity early-warning for live working on high voltage distribution lines,which meets the practical application requirements.
