AbstractObjective：Toexplorethegrief experiencesoffamilymembers who havelostalovedoneduetocancerand their intergeneratioalimpactsndteeplyexplorthegneticfearandaietisoftesebereaeddividualsostoprovideasisfor formulating targetedinterventionmeasures.Methods：Ahrmeneuticphenomenologicalqualiatieresearchmethodwasadopted.Semi structuredinterviewswereconductedwith14familymembersofapatientwhodiedofnasopharyngealcarcinoma3yearsago.Thematic analysis wascariedoutthroughNVivo14.Results：Fivemajorthemes were extracted：thediferent manifestationsof griefresponses acrossdieretgeneratios，teiteractiandifueneofeamongfilyeneratosoingitrif，nsufetuestading of pallativecareandgriefcounseling，andfearofcancerheredityandrecurence.Conclusions：Therewas heterogeneityin intergenerationalgriefresponses.Atentionshouldbepaidtoteintergenerationalgieftransmisionchainwithinfamilies.Precise interventionshouldbeimplementedincombinationwithculturaldiferencesandspiritualsupport，andulti-generationalgroup counseling should be promoted.
