Status quo and influencing factors of readiness of interprofessional learning in intern nursing students

Abstract Objective:To investigate the status quo of readiness of interprofessional learning in intern nursing students and its influencing factors,and to provide reference for developing nursing interprofessional learning in China.Methods:A total of 504 intern nursing students in Shanxi province were investigated by general data questionnaire,the Chinese version of Readiness of Interprofessional Learning Scale(RIPLS) and Eysenck Personality Questionnaire(EPQ).Results:The scores of RIPLS for the nursing students were 72.14±8.60.Nursing students' clinical practice duration,love degree of nursing,personality characteristics(extraversion,psychoticism) were the influencing factors of their readiness of interprofessional learning(P<0.05).Conclusions:The readiness of interprofessional learning in intern nursing students was above the average level.By cultivating the positive and optimistic character of intern nursing students,and their ability of readiness of interprofessional learning could be improved.
