Defining the nursing professional resilience：applying Rodgers evolutionary conceptual analysis

Abstract  Objective：To define the concept of professional resilience from the perspective of nursing profession.Methods：Using Rodgers evolutionary conceptual analysis method，this paper systematically reviewed the relevant literature on professional resilience in CNKI，WanFang Data，WIP，Web of Science，PubMed and other databases.Through an in⁃depth evaluative analysis of the concept of nursing professional resilience，the definition，connotation and characteristics of the concept were clarified，aiming to provide theoretical support for medical staff to develop assessment tools and implement precise intervention.Results：Compared with concepts such as "resilience"，"professional resilience" showed unique differences in attributes and characteristics，and had been widely recognized in the nursing field.It had unique，comprehensive，dynamic，evaluable and developmental characteristics.Based on the views of many scholars，this study attempted to explain and express the concept of professional resilience in terms of terminology.Conclusions：When defining the concept of nursing professional resilience，factors such as the current situation of health service system，the dynamic development of nursing profession，the needs of nursing education and the characteristics of clinical nursing practice should be comprehensively considered，so as to form a normative definition.
