AbstractThispaperfocusesonthestaraniseindustryinBaiseCity，Guangxi，nalyingthenecesityandfeasibilityofthe“Insurance + Futures”modelforhiustrydpropsingelentcommedatioforitspromotiotae，itissatilessoffruits，ad branches，oldssignificantooicvaue.aiseCityinGuangxiboastsotablevantagesintesoftaasecuivationaeaieldd outputvalue.Hweerteidutyurentlycescalengsuchslongivesmetetuccles，igniantpricefucuas，ghin comerisksforfes，lageprporiofweldestsngntdfexpasiodalitproetndtdatede cessingtechologies，llfichndertheevelopentofthestaransedustrnders’incBaiseCityosssdvantagefor applying the“Insurance + Futures”model inthe star anise industry，eflected initsabundantforest resources，convenienttransportation，policy support，and case studies for reference.To bettr promote the“Insurance + Futures” model，recommendations include strengthening publicity and training to enhance farmers' awareness and participation capabilities，optimizing insurance product design to align with the actual needs of theindustry，andimprovingrisk preventionandcontrol mechanisms to strengthen market monitoringandrisk management.
