AbstractIndrtrifleceoiluppresalistoigsinthetengopulatfChisupreslsalu atethefldegduaiboaosellgsispadtsc moglobindmonndtsfoigoilngoeiteeduethogheldalssulssdabt 80% oftheoverwiteringChilosupresalislarvaecouldbeompetelysubmergedafterbingfloded；afterdoffoding，teoalityas more than 80% ，and the median lethal time（ LT50 ）was 8.40d ； the mortality of overwintering pupae reached 92.22% after 3d flooding，which indicatedtatthetoleraceofoverwinteringlarvaetoflodingwasmuchhigherthanthatofpupae.Thehemoglobinandhemocyancontentf overwinteringpupaeereghertaoseofoewinteigl，butfereingsbmegd，temogindmoyaotfo winteringpupaedecreasedsignificantlyomparedwihoverwinteringlarvae.Tisaybeoneofthereasonshyoverwinteringpupehvesig nificantlylowrolaetofoigtaoeteinglaTulsoeldrassowdhatoiosatiouringthue achieved a 100% control effciencyagainstoverwintering pupae.Theresults providesatheoretical referencefor thecontrolof Chilo suppresalis in the field by using flooding for pupae mortality induction.
