AbstractTuderstandandhandleteurentstatusofbirdresourceswitinteXiaobeuNatioalNatureResee，HeiloiangProvince， abirddiversiestigatiosouedisiduiepaatelsinghlinattodlsic tedthata total of74 species ofbirdsbelonging to1lorders and28 families wererecorded.Among these，2 species （2.70%） belong to the Palaearctic realm，while 72 species （97.30% ）are cosmopolitan species.In terms of residency types，summer migrants dominate with 33 species 1 （44.60% ），followed by resident birdswith 32 species （43.24% ），passing birds with 8 species （ 10.81% ），and winter migrants with 1 species （2 （1.35%）.9 species are listed as the class I nationally key protected wildlife，1 species is classified as near threatened （NT）by the InternationalUnionforoseatioofturC）dspecsneable（U）.Tsivestigatioprovidesisihtsintota ofbirdresourcsineeseddsisforbeqtitifeachseatiisdfg ment of wildlife in the nature reserve.
