Effect of Desulfurized Gypsum on the Growth and Yield of Oil Sunflower in Saline-alkali Soil

AbstractInordertosudythfetofesulpuriedgypsumontegrowthandyieldofoilsunflowerinsalie-alkalisoil,fieldepints wereconductedontecultivationofoilsunflowerinsaliealkalilandusingdiferengradientsofesulpuriedgyps.Fvetreattsere set up,namely : CK( 0Vhm2 desulfurized gypsum),A treatment ( 5.5Vhm2 desulfurized gypsum),B treatment ( desulfurized gypsum),C treatment ( 16.5t/hm2 desulfurized gypsum),D treatment ( 22.0t/hm2 desulfurized gypsum).The results showed that desulphurized gypsumhdabeterimprovementectosoilsalizationndtreaentCadthebestimprovementfect,itteHvaluedeasingby 0.45(5.23%) and the total salt content decreasing by 6.17g/kg ( 43.91% ) compared with CK.Desulphurized gypsum had a significant impact on the growth and yield of oil sunflower,with the highest seedling emergence rate of 94.29% in treatment C and the highest plant height in treatment B during the growth period.The yield of oil sunflower was in the order of B>A>C>D>CK. The yield increasing effect of oil sunflower in treatment B was the best,up to 88.54% .The growth indicators and yield of oil sunflower showed a pattern of first increasing and then decreasing with the increase of desulfurized gypsum application rate.
