AbstractTo explore the effcts of diffrent land preparation methodsand slope positions on the growth and yield of Morinda oficinalis plantedunder the forest,this paper adopted atwo-factor randomized block design,setting up 3 land preparation methods (fullreclamation land preparation,stripland preparation,and block land preparation)and 3 slope positions (upper slope,midle slope,and lower slope),to measure the growth conditions and yield of Morinda ffcinalis under diferent treatments.Theresults showed thattheaverage fresh weight and preservation rateof fleshy rootsper plantof Morinda officinalisvaried significantlyamong diferent land preparation methods.Under the condition offullreclamationand landpreparation,theaverage fresh weightoffleshy rootsper plant (491g)of the 10- year Morinda officinalis was the highest,the preservation rate (78.9 % )of the 6-year Morinda officinalis was the highest,and the yield( 34767.0kg/hm2 of the1O-year Morinda officinalis was the highest. The average annual yield (4 594.2kg/hm2 )of Morinda officinalis from the 6-year fullreclamation and land preparation was the highest. The average fresh weight offleshyrootsperplantand thepreservationrateof Morinda oficinalisat diferent slope positionsshowed significant diferences.The average fresh weight offleshyroos per plant (497g)was the highest in the10-year Morinda officinalis growing on the downhill slope,the preservation rate (79.6 % )wasthe highest,and the yield 34947.3kg/hm2 )of10-year Morinda offcinalis was the highest. The annual average yield (4 748.7kg/hm2 )of 6-yearMorindaoficinalisisthehighest.Overall,thefullreclamationandland preparationmethod,aswellasthe plantingof Morindaoffcinalisunder the forestonthe lower slopes,caneffctively increase theyieldof Morinda fcinalis.Taking6yearsas thecultivationperiodof Morindaoficinaliscan significantlyincreasetheaverage anual yield during the planting cycle.
