Resource conservation planning and practice of the cultural and sports park in Midong District，Urumqi

AbstractThe application of the conservation-oriented concept in the planning and construction of the park was summarized.Taking thecultural and sports park in Midong District，Urumqi， Xinjiangasan example，planningand design strategies forthe project area are proposed from two aspects： intensive land use and systematic water resource management.Adhering to theconcept of conservation，with theaimof buildingagreenecological landscape and integrating diversified service facilities，we arecommitted to creating a comprehensiveurban park that combines ecology，landscape，leisure and entertainment，sports exercise，cultural educationand consumption experience.In terms of land resources，flexible spatial planning and design areadopted，which enhances the comprehensive utilization effciencyofland，creates multi-functionalspacesandenhances theflexibilityoffacilitylayout，andavoids the wasteof resources caused bythe idlenessof single-function sitesat specific times.Interms of water conservation，thenatural precipitation from is fullycollcted.During the planning and design proces，theclimaticand geographical conditionsof the project area are fully considered，and native tree speciesand drought-resistant plantsare selected.During the construction phase，optimizethe plantingtimeof plants and caryout pruning reasonably，etc.During the maintenance and management stage，modern soil moisture monitoring systems areapplied，and water-saving irrigation equipment is used to reduce the maintenance costs of urban greening and the utilization of water resources.This article provides a reference for the sustainable development of gardens in relevant regions.

节约型园林旨在通过资源高效利用及回收，最大程度地降低能耗、提高资源利用效率，实现生态保护，其在建设宜居、绿色、韧性、人文城市中具有重要作用[1-2。（剩余4968字）
