Abstract:Postcholecystectomy syndrome (PCS)primarily involves the liver, galbladder, spleen, and stomach. Itspathogenesisiscloselyrelatedtothegalbladder qi ascending in spring. After cholecystectomy, theascending function of gallbladder qi is compromised, leading to liver-gallbladder qi stagnation, spleen stomach disharmony, gallbladder-stomach incoordination, and liver-spleenimbalance,manifestingasabnormal bileexcretionand gastrointestinal dysfunction.Basedon the theory of galbladder qi ascending inspring,Professor LIAN Zhiming emphasizes restoring theascendingfunctionof galbladderqi to regulate theqi movementof liver-gallbladder-spleenstomach systems and harmonizeqi-blood:sothing the liver and promoting gallbladdertouplift yangqi, softening the liverand strengthening thespleento harmonize qi-blood,regulating thestomach andwarming thegalbladder to normalize qi movement, and using modified Wendan Decoction, with significant clinical efficacy.
