Summary of Experiences of Contemporary Famous Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners in Treating Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease

Abstract：Gastroesophageal reflux disease （GERD） is a common clinical disease with complex etiology and pathogenesis.Traditional Chinese medicine （TCM）has unique characteristics and advantages in treating GERD. Contemporary famous TCM practitioners often treat GERD from aspects such as combination of disease and syndrome， stage-based treatment，treatmenttailored to three factors，treatment basedon latent pathogens，regulating the pivot mechanism，harmonious method，holistic treatment，simultaneous treatment of the internal and external，and integration of traditional Chinese and western medicine.This paper summarizes the diagnosis and treatment experences of contemporary TCM practitioners on GERD，aiming to provide references for clinical treatment this disease.
