Study on Point Selection Patterns of YE Xinmiao's Acupotomy Treatment for Knee Osteoarthritis Based on Sinew Theory

1.RenjiCollge,WenzhouMedicalUniversity,WenzhouZhejiang325035,China;2.ZhejiangChineseMedicalUniversity,Hangzhou Zhejiang310o53,China;3.TheFirst Afiliated HospitalofWenzhouMedical University,Wenzhou Zhejiang3250oo,China Abstract:Objective:To analyze the point selection patterns of Professor YE Xinmiao's acupotomy treatment for knee osteoarthritis (KOA)basedon the sinewtheorythrough data mining.Methods:Casedata ofKOA patients treated byProfessorYE from January 2O2O to January2O25using sinew theory-guidedacupotomywerecollected to establisha prescription database.SPSS Statistics 27 and SPSS Modeler 18.0 were used for frequency statistics of acupotomy points, distributionanalysis,asociation rule mining analysis,and cluster analysis.Results:A total of 235acupotomy prescriptions involving 28 operating points (total frequency:1245)were included.The top five most frequently used points were:lateral head of quadriceps femoris,medial head of quadriceps femoris,tibial tuberosity,medial colateralligament,andpes anserinus tendon.The acupotomy points were predominantlydistributed in theanteriorand medial kneeregions.Asociationruleanalysis showedthe strongestcorelation was tibial tuberosity-inferior patellar border-midpointof patellar ligament. Cluster analysis revealed two effective clusters.Conclusion:Profesor YE's

sinew theory-basedacupotomyfor KOA primarily targets anterior and medial knee regions,reflecting his emphasis on functional integrityofanterior knee extensorapparatus,tensile stresschanges inmedialcollateral ligamentand pes anserinus tendon,and tension degree of popliteal muscle in posterior knee.
