A Study on the Development Characteristics and Trends of Chinese Association Standards （2015-2024）

Abstract： [Objective] This study aims to analyze the development characteristics and trends of asociation standards in China over the pastdecade，exploretheirroleinpromoting economicandsocial development，and propose strategies for optimizing their futuredevelopment.[Methods]Adoptingahierarchicalperspective，thisresearch employs wordfrequency andtrendanalysismethods，utilizingPythonprogrammingandtheJiebaChinesewordsegmentationtool.Thestudyanalyzes over l00，0oo assciation standards publishedonthe National Association Standards InformationPlatform to examine their development paterns，challenges，andkeyissues.[Results]Thefindingsreveal thatthedevelopmentofassociation standards has evolved in distinctstages： theinitial stageaddresed basic needs; the middle stage emphasized technological innovation and industrial upgrading; and therecent stage has focused more on high-end manufacturing and sector-specific standardization.Association standards issued by nationallyregistered associations exhibitnotable advantages incutingedgeareassuchasintelligent technologiesanddigitalzation，whilethoseissedbylocallyegsteredaociationspeform prominentlyinagriculture，ecologicalprotection，andpublicservices.Nonetheless，therapidgrowthofssociationstandards has exposed isuesrelated tounclearpositioning，inconsistent quality，andalack ofcoordination withnational standards. [Conclusion] Inlightoftheobserveddevelopmentpatersover thepast tenyears，itisesentialtocknowledgeandaddress emerging problems，regulate disorderly practices，and improve governance models inareas such as data governance，role positioning，and value orientation.These steps are vital to guiding association standards toward higher-qualityand more standardized development.
