Abstract：Aimingat theproblemsofexcessverepirandunderepairinwhllathingofhavyhaulrailayfreightcarsadigital preciselathing modelisproposedthroughresearchonwheewearlawsanddataanalysis.Themodeltakestheminimumlathingamount asthemainoptimzationgoalonsiderfctorssuchaswheelizeparameterlimitsandwearlimitsasonstraints，andsearchsforte bestrimthicknslathingtemplatethoughiterativesearh.Troughositetestingitiserifidthattheproosedpreiseugodel canachievetheminimumtuingvolumewhileensuingthelimitofwheesizeapplication，fectivelyavoidover-repairandunderrepair，and ensure the safetyand economy of whel operation and maintenance of heavy-duty railway freight cars.
