Abstract：Thispaper introducestheboltstrengthcalculation'methodof standard VDI223O，andtakestheboltconectionof acertaintypeoflocomotiveobstacleremoverasanexampletoanalyzetheboltcomnectionforceandfastenerparametersofthe obstacleremover，andusesthewholeprocessofthisstandardtocheckitsoltconnectionstrength.Throughtheverification，the resultssow thattheboltconection performanceofthistypeoflocomotiveobstacleremover meets thedesignrequirements.
