Abstract:Withincreasingglobal energydemandand depletionofshallowresources,exploration ofdeep and complex formationshasbecomeaciticalfocusinthepetroleumindustryTraditionalmethodsfacebotlenecksindataprocesing,pattern recognitionandecisiooptiatioissudysstematicalleviewsthedancementsofartfiialintellgene(Ateolois indeepoilandgasexploration,focusingonaplicationsofmachineleaing(ML),deeplearning(DL),andotherAtchiques inseismicinterpretationreservoirpredictionanddrilingoptimization.Casestudiesdemonstratethateancesexplorati eficiency,mitigatesrisksndoptimizesresourcemanagement.Theresearchidentifesfourkeychalengesforimplemettio: dataqualitymodelinterpretabilitynterdisciplinarytalentshortages,andcomputationalconstraints,proposingsolutiossuchas dataaugmentationandmodellightweighting.Byintegratingmultidisciplinaryconvergenceandemergingtechnologies(e.g.,edge computing,digitaltwins),AIisexpectedtodrivetheintellgent,real-time,andautonomoustransformationofdeepexploation. Thisworkprovidestheoreticalandtechnicalinsightstosupporttheindustry'stransitiontowardnext-generationexploration paradigms.
