Abstract:This paper presents thedesign ofa36Vthin-typenon-excited brakebasedonthe technical requirements providedbycustomers.Thebrakehasaatedvoltageof36V,aratedpowerof27W,aminimumstaticfrictiontorqueofnoles than16Nm,aninsulationclassofF,aninsulationwithstandvoltageofAC12oOV/second,andastaticlifeof1millon cycles.Te brakeisprimarilycomposedofaarmature plate,splineshaft,mounting plate,ringspacer,column,spring,frictiondisc,yoke,coppercoil,andbobbin.Thispaperelaboratesontheworking principle,structuraldesign,materialselection,andperformance testing methodsofthebrake.Throughsimulationandexperimentalvalidation,itisconfirmedthatthe brake mets thedesign requirements.The research results demonstrate that the brakefeatures a compact structure,fastresponse,stable friction torque,and long service life,making it suitable for industrialapplicationswith high demandson space and performance.
