Abstract:In order to improve the performanceof the lawn subsoil of the footballstadium,highly elastic coconut silk and diferent polyacrylamide(PAM)wereadded to the lawn subsoil as reinforcement materials,and the effects of diferentPAMadditions ontheturf systemwere explored.The experimentalresults showed thatthetotal porosity and capillry porosityof thesubsoil soil in the turf system were increasedbyadding PAMto the subsoil,andthe total soil porosityand capillary porosityof the prepared PAM/coconut silk(CS)turf subsoil reached the maximum when the addition of PAM was 0.1% . With the addition of PAM,the saturated water conductivity of the turf subsoil soil continued to decrease,but the effect on the pH value of the subsoil soil was small,and the lawn subsoil soil remained neutral afteradding acertain amountof PAM.Theaddition ofPAM significantly reduced the shear strength of the subsoil,and the soil shear strength increased first and then decreased.The appropriate amount of PAM willincreasethe soil cohesion of thesubsoil toacertain extent,and make the soil of the turf subsoil compact,thereby reducing the amount of sand leakage in the entire turf system.Adding the right amount of PAM material to thelawn subsoil systemcan improve theperformanceof the subsoil of the fooballfield turf system,and thusimprove the quality of the lawn subsoil.
