Abstract:Thisstudyivestigatedandaalyzedtechemicalcomposition,anatomicalstructure,iberorphologyndmechanicalpope tiesofsixepratiUactilyelseli lanica,Urticaleeensndebegeasientalishsultsowdatiicandifrecesistedinmicalo amongthese six Urticaceae species.Thecelulose contents of Boehmerianiveaand Urtica laetevirens were both above 40% .The syringyl-toguaiacyl(S/G)risofligininBehmerpendulifoaandUriceteviesererelatielyloereasthatofttherfouieceeded1.Indi,allixUrtcaceematerialseieddistitmnstructuresdelativelyghsptatios,withal ratios ranging from O.9 to 3.1. The crystallinity of all six Urticaceae fibers exceeded 80% ,with microfibril angles distributing between 8∘ and (204号 33∘ ,and fiber densities ranging from 1.56 to 1.74g/cm3 .Handsheet produced from Urtica laetevirens fibers exhibited the highest zero-span tensile index,which reached 84.4kN⋅m/g ,while those made from the other five fibers ranged from 44.1 to 65.9kN⋅m/g
