Abstract：Byrefering toancient Zang medicineclasicsand Chinese translations，combined with modern literature，thename， origin，medicinalparts，effcacy，processngandotheraspectsofZangmedicine“Chuanbu”weresystematicallsortedoutandresearched.Aftertextualresearch，Thetextualresearchshowedthat“chuanbu”wasfirstrecordedintheSomaratsaYuewang Yaozhen inthe midleof theeighthcentury.Therearemanynicknamesforit，suchas“Chuan Qiong”and“Taqiong”，butthemainstream namerecordedintheancientboksofZang medicineandherbsis“Chuanbu”andissillusedtoday.ProducedinGansu，Qinghai， Xizang andotherregions of China.Accordingto theresearch ofbasic origin，the mainorigin was Euphorbiastracheyi Boissand Eu phorbiamicractinaBoiss．Therotsof plantsareputintomedicine.TheharvestimeisSeptembertoOctober.“Chuanbu”isconsideredbybothancientandmodernmedicinetohaveaneutralnature，aslightlysweettaste，ndistoxic.Mainlytotreatbiliarydisease，andhasthefunctionofrelievingdiarheaanddetoxifying．Thisarticleconductstheherbaltextualresearchof“Chuanbu”，we hopeto providereferencefortheresearch，clinicalrationaluseofZang medicine“Chuanbu”and promoteitsexpansionanddevelopment.
