Abstract：Theclasificationtheoryof Zang medicinehasexperiencedthedevelopmentfromthepreliminaryexplorationof YuewangYaozhentothesystematicdevelopmentofJingzhuBencao.EarlyYuewangYaozhenclasifiedmedicineaccording toEarth，wate， stoneandwod，hichaidtodationforatergeneatiosubsequntlyiudiasaardeddproedteao systemof drugs，whichwassubdividedintoeightcategories，suchastreasures，stonesandearth，ndemphasizedthesourceandmorphologicalcharacteristicsofdrugs.YaomingZhihaifurtherrefiestheclassficationcriteriaandincudesmorecategories.Intheend， JingzhuBencoiselmnatioofeagmeinecifationichisddednto13fist-levelasificatiosand64cond -levelclasifications，recording294 kindsof drugs，haveafar-reachingimpactonthedevelopmentof modern Tibetan pharmacy.
