Exploration of pathways for integrating fishing culture into curriculum-based ideological and political education under the context of new agricultural science construction

Abstract:The proposal of new agricultural science and curriculum-based ideological and political education has imposed new requirements on talent cultivation in agricultural- related universities. China's outstanding traditional culture,represented by fishing culture,provides significant value for achieving the“Three-Aspect Holistic Education”(all-staff,all—process,and all-round education)in higher education. However,how to organically integrate fishing culture with ideological and political education remains an urgent challnge incurrent curriculum ideological and political construction. By analyzing the existing issues in integrating fishing culture into ideological and political education,this paper preliminarily explores fusion pathways from four dimensions:curriculum content, pedagogical methods,campus culture,and faculty development. In further dissects the ideological and political elements inherent insights and recommendations for their in-depth integration.
