Discussion on the green and efficient breeding model of Micropterus salmoides in northern regions

Abstract：The traditional early-stage farming methods for Micropterus salmoides in northern regions are associated with high costs and low eficiency. There is a need to enhance the application of green and high一eficiency farming models to improve the growth rate and quality of California bass through facility一based farming，thereby achieving a win一win situation for both economic and ecological benefits. Based on this， this paper primarily analyzes the key points and new models of green and highefficiency Micropterus salmoides farming in northern regions，and conducts field trials of the new models. Ultimately，it is concluded that the use of land-based recirculating aquaculture systems and flow-through raceway farming models for Micropterus salmoides farming in northern regions holds broader prospects，with considerable economic and social benefits.
