High-value valorization of Thunnini : nutrition,opportunities,and future trends

Abstract:Thunnini,as a highly nutritious marine resource,suffers from insufficient high-value utilization,urgently requiring systematic research to drive industrial upgrading. This study analyzes Thunnini’s nutritional composition,compares international experiences with domestic practices,and explores its potential in high-value fields such as functional foods,biomedicine,and cosmetics.Results indicate that Thunnini holds significant advantages in DHA supplement,collagen extraction, and anti-aging product development. The research provides theoretical support for transforming China's Thunnini industry from extensive fishing to intensive processing,which holds significance importance for enhancing added value,promoting sustainable resource utilization,and meeting health一conscious consumer demands.
