AbstractObjective:ToinvestigatetheapplicationofBufaloexoskeletonrobtinrehabitationofparaplegicpatients.Methods:102 paraplegic patientsadmitedtoGuangyuan Hospitalof Traditional Chinese MedicinefromJanuary2022toJanuary2O25wereselected and randomly divided into the study group ( n =51,receiving Buffalo exoskeleton robot-assisted training combined with conventional rehabilitation)andthecontrolgroup(n=51rceivingconventionalrhabiliatonalone).Thactivitisofdailylving(AD)ial cordindependence,motorfunction,alancefuction,walkingabilityandclinicaleficacyrecomparedbetweenthetwooups. Results:Comparedwiththatbeforeintervention,BarthelIdexandFunctionalIndependenceMeasuresoresincreasedignificantly in both groups after intervention,with higher scores in the study group than the control group ( P <0.05).Afterintervention,Fugl-Meyer Assessment and Berg Balance Scale scores improved in both groups,with greater improvement in the study group ( P <0.05). The study groupalsoshowedsignificantlybeterimprovementsinO-meterwalk testand6-minutewalk testscoresversus thecontrolgroup (P<0.05) .Thetotalefectiverateofclinical eficacywassignificantlyhigherinthe studygroupthanthatinthecontrolgroup( P <0.05). Conclusion: Bufalo exoskeletonrobotcombined with conventionalrehabilitationcan efectively enhanceADLand spinal cord independenceinparaplegicpatients,promoterecoeryofmotoandbalancefunctios,improvewalingabilityandciicalcacyich is worthy of clinical promotion.
