OBE理念下BOPPPS教学模式在病理学实验教学中的应用

Abstract: Objective To explore the application and efect of BOPPPS teaching mode based on the Outcomesbased education (OBE) concept in Pathological Laboratory teaching for the specialty of Medical Laboratory Technology (Pathological Technology program). Methods A total of 246 undergraduates in the class of 2021 and 2022 majoring in Medical Laboratory Technology (Pathological Technology program) from Fenyang College of Shanxi Medical University were selected as the study objects,with 128 students in the class of 2021 in the control group and118 students in the class of 2O22 in the experimental group.Traditional teaching mode was applied in the teaching of the control group,while BOPPPS teaching mode based on OBE concept was used in the teaching of the experimental group.At the end of the semester,the impact of the teaching modes on students’comprehensive competence was evaluated through experimental scores, theoretical scores,total scores,teaching satisfaction,and evaluation of teaching efect.Results Compared with the control group,the experimental group acquired significantly higher experimental scores,theoretical scores,and total scores,with statistical significance ( (P<0.05 ).In addition,students’satisfaction and evaluation of teaching effect of BOPPPS teaching mode were significantly higher than those of the traditional teaching mode,with statistical significance (P<0.05 ). Conclusion BOPPPS teaching mode based on OBE concept not only enhances students’academic performance and teaching satisfaction,but also receives positive teaching evaluations,leading to a significant improvement in students’overall competencies.
