AbstractTodentifaltrantvretisableforlocalivatiojoreloretis(Tyungang,ina QuanfuB35,engtianuiangJigan,Bgj,LiertianN.9,Wei’i,aoaaneinu,intian)udel (200mmol/LNaClfor50days)wereevaluatedbymeasuringkeyphysiological idicators,ncludingbetaine,proline(Pro),subleprotei, andmalondialded(D)contetsAmulti-atorcomprehesieessmentwasoductedteteevaretalsaltolerae.er sultsrevealedsiantdifesiiocalsposaogvetLitianuidrkableiceasiblepoten (42.42% )anda reduction in MDA( 11.97% ),indicating strong protein homeostasis and membrane stability under stress,thus representing the most salt-tolerant genotype.Lintian 111 also demonstrated considerable tolerance,with only a 10.62% decrease in soluble protein and a (20 7.90% reductioninMDA.QuanfuB35andMengtianRuixiangshowedmoderatesalt tolerance,haracterizedbysubstantialprolinaccumula tion ( 125.79% and 304.00% ,respectively)and relatively minimal membrane damage.Although Xinxuan Baishami displayed extreme proline accumulation ( 752.60% ),its soluble protein content decreased sharply (53.24%) ,indicating limited metabolic stability under salinity. Tianyuxiangwang showed increased betaine ( 19.69% )but a significant decline in soluble protein (33.64% ),constraining its overall tolerance. In contrast,Maohua Tianfei and Li'ertian No.9 were identified as salt-sensitive,with the former showing a 56.12% decrease in proline and the latter a 24.15% increase in MDA.Inconclusion,LintianFuyuandLintian1arerecommendedasdominantsalt-tolerant varieties in Inner Mongolia,withteirchasmsatrbutedtosergsticgulationofmoticsubsaces,proteinmetabolismndmembraneinteitys study provides a scientific basis for melon breeding and cultivation in saline-alkali regions.
