AbstractObjective]ToexploretheefectofsoakingtionthegrminationofCyperusesculentussedsanddeteminetheostuitable soaking time.[Method]Four gradient soaking times of O(CK),24,48,and 72h were set,the emergence rate and relative traits of Cyperus esculentussedsweremeasuredbypotcultivationinalightcuureroom.Result]One-wayanalysisofvarianceshowedthathegerination and radicle traits of Cyperus esculentus seeds were significantly afected by the soaking time ( P<0.05 ).After soakingfor 24,48,and 72h ,the germinatinofseedsassigificantlyigertantatoftheotrolgroup.Amongthm,tegerinatioanddicleritsofCypeuseculen tus seeds reached the highest value after soaking for 48h .When the soaking time was greater than 48h ,all germination indicators showed a downwardtrend,whichhdaninhibitoryefectonthegrowthofCyperuseesculentus.TheseedsofCyperusesculentussoakedfor 48h had the highest emergence rate.[ Conclusion]The most suitable soaking time for Cyperus esculentus seeds is 48h . The study can provide important theoreticalbasisandticalspptfosoeingteprodfsdingultiatoandiprovingtesinqaityofCypeuelet.
