Abstract[Objective]Inorder to explore the genetic lawof grain dhydrationrateof spring maize.[Method]Six generationsof P1,P2,F1 , F2,B1 and B2 wereconstructedbyusing two varieties NP118and MO17withlarge diferences indehydrationrateasparents.Thegenetic model analysis of grain dehydration rate was carried out by the main gene + polygene mixed genetic model analysis method.[ Result] The average dehydration rate of F1 generation in reciprocal cross was the fastest,and the F2 generation population showed a continuous approximate normal distribution,hchossttitharacteristofatitiitgeetcodelfgaieeldaateas ditive-domnaepistasis(D)lygeeticododiiectplaajorlditisablyidac segregatingeatidvotaltsveiletousiouyidpotoretialouatiooru thermappingandminngthekeygnescontrlingthgaindehydrationateofprgmaizeandbredingnwvarietiessuitablefraed harvesting.
