Abstract [Objective] To investigate the effects of soil pH on the chemical composition and burning characteristics of cigar leaves.[Method] ApotexperimentsconductedusingtecigarvarietyChuanue3asthexperimentalmaterial，withfivesoilptreatments：p5.（， CK），pH5.7（T2），pH6.5（T3），pH7.4（T4），and pH8.6 （T5）.The effects of soil pH on the chemical composition，mineral element content，andburingpropertisofcuredcigarleaveswereevaluated，andteoelationsamong hesefctorsereaalyzed.Resuloparedwithtertreatents，suledghotasstentdaoaties，oderatelel mentlevels，logersoldeinguratioppropateingateditersholor.eoentsftotalsuarducingugardc tinenthecigbaccolaveseidatrndftialleasingndsubsequtlyincreasingiticeasingsoileiel high and low soil pH levels were detrimental to the accumulation of K ，Ca，and Mg in the leaves，leading to poor burning performance，characterized by shorter smoldering time，darker ash color，and increased ash grayness. The concentrations of P and Na in the leaves increased withrisingsolCoraalssedatafotssinlosielodisotd tassiu-talaieldietdiallaott reducedthebuingareaanddarkenedtheashcolor，whereashigherMgontentcontributedtoagaysh-whiteashappearance．Coclusion] Inthe Dazhoutobaccogrowngrgion，itisecommendedtoapplyanapropriateamountofalkalinesoilonditionertoisethesoil pH ，while reducingtheuseofsulfur-andposphors-basedfertlizers.Particularatentionsouldbegiventosupplementingmedumandtraceelents， suchasmagnesiumandmanganese，toimprovethechemicalbalanceof tobaccoleaves，therebyenancingtheirflammabilityanduality.
