AbstractObjective]Clarifyterelationshipetweeorganicarbonandvegetationiomassandsoilphysicalandchemicalfactorsndto sientficallygulatethlbonol.Metd]Taingdievegeationts(rbub,rbhub)intogllialin ingareafYunCityaaniProvinceasteect,thstribtiofgancarbonabonesityndsolutrientfeite 0-<200 cmloessoillayer wasstudied,andtherelationshipamongorganiccarbon,vegetationbiomass,andsoil physicochemicalfctors was explored.[Result] The results showed that the soil organic carbon content and carbon density in the 0-<200 cm soil layer were highest in herb-shrubvegetation,folowedbyshubvegetationandlowestinrbvegetation.Theorganiccarboncontentinesoilsigifcantlyde creased with the deepening of the soil layer. The decrease in the 100--200 cm soil layer compared to the 0-<100 cm soil layer was as follows:shrub (35.68%)>herb(25.06%)> herb-shrub ( 19.83% ).The soil organic carbon content was closely related to the biomass of each vegetatiosallaotfieleleiloal trogen,total phosphorus,available phosphorus,ammonium nitrogen,and calcium carbonate ( P<0.05 ! P<0.01 ),and significantly correlated with soil pH negatively[Conclusion]Overall,itseemsthatthereisastronglinkbetweensoilutrientsandorganiccarboncontent,andthe twointeracteeciieatieoueeflcbabi ity than other vegetation types.
