AbstractObjective]Tostudytheearlysenescencecharacteristicsofwheatlaf mutantT8.Method]ThewheatlineZhongke852andits early senescence mutant T68 induced by γ -ray were used as materials,the photosynthesis indices were detected,as well as the agronomic and yieldtraitsweraalyd,ndertoiltrteesiolgicaladoeicaleanssoflseneseceT8.esultuls showedthat Zhongke852andarlysenescence mutantT68couldompletethegrowthandmaturationprocesesnomall.HowevertheutantT86grewaboallintarlystag,wittegrowthcotiues,esmptomsofarlysenescencegraduallyitesif,hichused witherof tewholeplantuntildied,andledtotheplantheightandthousandgrain weight,aswellasyieldreductionultimately.Duringthe occureneofearlysenescencereactions,thePODandSODenzmeactivityofT68weresignificantlyhigherthantoseofZhongke852into thideafwhileeresigfcantlylowerinfagandtopsecondleaf.Conclusion]Teconclusiosaboecouldlatheoreticalfoundatiosfor physiological and biochemical mechanisms of mutant T68 for early senescence.
