Precise Identification of Maize Inbred Lines in Cold Region Resistance to Common Smut and Analysis of Resistance Genetics

AbstractObjective]Toexplorethetrueresistanceofmaizegermplasmresources tocommonsmut.[Method]Newmaize inbredlinswere preciselydentifidandevaluatedforresistancetocommonsutbyusingartfialinoulationmetodsforonsecutiveyearsTeeticlaw of resistance of highly resistant materials was preliminarily analyzed through the segregation ratio analysis of the F2 population and adaptability testsof indialsistantdsitieplatResul]totalofstaeateasfaidlsresreedig for 62.5% ofthetotalidentifiedmaterials,mong which,6materalswerehighlyresistant,9materalswre mediumresistantand5materials were resistant to common smut. A total of 12 sensitive materials were screened,accounting for 37.5% of the total identified materials.Genetic analysisfresistaceofglsistaeateralstecomonsutsdutaoingtoeseparationratiodsabiltyf resistant and susceptible plants by using F2 population. The results showed that resistance of Z17HEB-82、Z17HEB-93、Z17HEB-100 and Z17HEB-07ibredlinestoUstlgozeaemaybecontroledbyonepairofdominantsinglegene.Conclusion]heresultscanprovidepor tant references forthe introduction and utilization of maize common smut resistant germplasm inthe future in China.
