Abstract：Therearenumerousancient Chineseidioms involving theword“horse，"each withrichconnotations.Somereflect the ideal pursuitofstrivingforwardandpositiveaspirationsothersshowcasethespiritoffollowingrulesbeingtrustwothy， andmakng pioneeringeforts；stillothersembodythesentimentofcherishingtalentandloyaltytothecountyHorseculture is an indispensablepartofthecultureofthenorthernfrontierIdiomsinvolvingtheword“horse"areaformofexpressionof this culturenotonlyreflectingthedeepafectionthenorthernfrontierpeoplehaveforhorsesbutalsoexertingaprofoundinfluence on the spiritual world and cultural heritage of ancient Chinese people.
