Abstract：Livercirhosis isachronic liverdiseaseinwhichtheliverparenchyma isreplacedbyfibrotictissueandregenerated nodules.Itsmaincomplicationsincludeportal hypertension，hepaticencephalopathy，spontaneousbacterial peritonitis，and hepatocellularcarcinoma.Despitegeatprogressintreatmentandmanagement，itsomplicationsstillimposeasubstantalburden onbothndividualsandsociety.Inrecentyears，thebiologicalroleofitaminDanditsrelationshipwiththecomplicatiosofliver cirhosishavereceivedextensiveatention.VitaminDisotonlyaimportantfatsolublevitamin，butalsoasanti-fibroticntiinflammatory，ndntiumorts.isrticletosummaeteolandotetialicalapplicatioalufiaininthe maincomplicationsofivercihosis，ndtoexploreanewuxiliartreatmentopreventanddelaythedevelopmentofcomplications.
