Abstract：Inrecent years，significant progress hasbeenmadeintheradiologicaldiagnosis，molecularprofiling，andsystemic therapyofcholangiocarcio（CC）.Nevertheless，terearestillanychallnges inarlydentification，reciseclasifiation， andefective management.Given themarked heterogeneitybetwen CCAsubtypesandtherecentresearchadvances，theEuropean AsociationfortheStudyoftheLiverhasdevelopedevidence-basedmanagementrecommendations forextrahepaticCCA，covering both perihilaranddistalsubtypes.This guidelineparticularlyemphasizes theneedforpreciseclasificationsystems，theintegration of emerging molecular studies，and practicaldiagnosticand therapeutic strategies reflecting real-worldclinical scenarios.
