Abstract：Portalvein thrombosis （PVT）isacommonandseverecomplicationinpatients with livercirhosis，andalterations in portal hemodynamicsarecloselyasociated withthedevelopmentof PVT.The presenceof large spontaneoussplenorenal shunt （SSRS）maylead toreductionsin portalveinperfusionand bloodflowvelocity，whichmaycompromisetheanticoagulanteffecton PVT.This articlereports thetreatmentstrategiesofSSRSembolizationcombinedwithanticoagulanttherapythathelptoachieve completerecanalizationoftheportalvein；however，highqualityclinicalstudiesarestillneededtofurthervalidateandsupportthe effectiveness of this strategy.
